This summer I finally decided to track the osprey from babies to flight from the nest. I have watched them for over a decade but never committed myself to the time it would take. So for most of July and August I spent about two hours almost every day photographing their daily lives. A lot of the time was spent waiting for the parents to come home with fish. But I learned a lot about their behaviour. It was fascinating. Now I will start to recount the story in this blog.
The first couple of photographs will just show you how magnificent they are and then the story will unfold over the next few posts. I must confess I am thrilled with the photographs I was able to capture!
