Although I talk about the valley a lot, I haven’t shown many photographs of the valley itself. So for today my photo is of mountains as you head up the valley. This is a mountain I am photographing in all weather and seasons. Actually, if you look closely, it’s the mountain behind that captures my interest each time. I call it Shangra-la.

This group of mountains makes for fantastic shots, unless of course, they are hidden in the mist or clouds. I think the distance makes them even more impressive.
