Over the past couple of years, I have devoted a lot of space to the wildlife in the valley and on the lake. For the first post of the new year I thought I would show you some of the scenery around here. While we would all like to keep this area a secret, tourism is becoming an attractive way to boost the local economy. And the area certainly lends itself to tourism. We have some lovely places to see and explore.

What I planned to do is, based on these photos, take you on some tours of the area over the next few weeks.
