Sometimes when I go out to photograph, the image that stays in my mind most is a simple one. Peaceful. Serene. A scene that gave me pause while I was busy catching photos. It slowed me down and refreshed my mind. Made me breathe slowly and deeply.
This is one such photograph. It was meditative and kept me watching even after I lowered my camera. I sat in my kayak and absorbed the serenity as we both bobbed up and down with the gentle waves.
