This would work on its own, but having the image attached to the haiku makes it all the more powerful. Nicely done!

  Thank you. From the moment I took the photo over three months ago, the thread was there for the feather. Oddly enough, when I wrote the haiku tonight, I didn’t notice I had changed the subject form the feather to me at the end. Only after I posted it.
  Was an interesting challenge and great that you chose water. I live beside a lake. C
