As part of the Word Press Weekly Photo Challenge, the topic is ‘orange’. It is very hard to find orange things or animals up here. However, I was quickly joined in my search by a couple of residents that have some orange:

This little spider is very proud of its colours

And a merganser pointed out they have lovely orange feet and bills:

A local helicopter even came up in my search:

And the bald eagle wanted in too.

So I was wrong, orange is common around here after all.
