As usual, I can easily be distracted from the thread of a current topic And this is the case now. I’ll return to the geese later but wanted to share this experience with you now.
The other day, after I had spotted an osprey up at the end of the lake, I headed out to look for it. Not really expecting to find it in the same place. But I did, and watched it for a few minutes before coming a bit closer to photograph it. That move didn’t seem to bother it as it stayed and chatted with its partner who flew past while I was there. Then, it headed off after the partner. I have chosen these photos as I love osprey in motion, particularly as they start off from a tree.

I really love this one!

I’d hate to come in contact with their claws!
