The Bird’s Butt

I believe that I have mentioned in the past that photographing the backend of wildlife is a pain in the butt! There is nothing more frustrating than getting ready for an impromptu shot only to have the bear, deer, moose, etc turn and head off in the other direction.

Well the other day, I was proven wrong! I had been photographing an osprey in a tree, very successfully, when it took off and headed away. Butt in my lense. But, I rather liked the shots. They show a different perspective and reveal how an osprey flies away. The claws are interesting.
See for yourself and feel free to let me know what you think. Or in other words, feel free to rebut my perspective…..
