Probably most of you won’t know the phrase ‘Kilroy was here’ so I’ll leave it to you to find out. It has nothing to do with this post other than killdeer reminded me of Kilroy.
This and the next post about my world will follow a killdeer I was very fortunate to see having a good time in the sun and taking a bath.
These first shots show it kicking up its heels. I only wish I could have been closer. But then it probably would have left. They are quite shy birds.
