It’s Spring – Let the Battles Begin

Spring has sprung and action is heating up in the garden! A careful examination of the budding flowers and the grasses in the flower beds reveals a world of bug eat bug. This is what I have seen in my seemingly tranquil garden. Its brutal! Be prepared! And it’s amazing what big prey these tiny spiders will attack!

And then the flying ants arrived and I started cheering the spider!

I very rarely interfere but this time my heart went out to the struggle mimic bee!
