Taking care when I photographed this set of sap ‘tears’. They are deceptively fragile.
Some boundaries are fixed and permanent. Others are fluid and transitory. Here, a creek filled with mud from a slide merges with the crystal clear Lardeau River.
One of the most subtle and nuanced ‘boundary’ is the space around an animal. Outside that invisible boundary – a comfort level. Inside that boundary – attack and defend.
